This is it. The big kahuna. The "juggernaut flagship masterwork", if you will. Clocking in just over 13min, 59,000+ notes (thanks Finale!), this tune's mission statement was, "More is more!"
I had written a tune with this ensemble a few years prior (which will be featured heavily on an upcoming release), really wanted to outdo myself in every way possible: Make it proggier. Heavier. Utilize each instrument more fully. Make it more densely orchestrated. More melodic. More estranged/dense harmonies & reharmonizations...more of everything. An aural onslaught from start to finish, this tune is the backbone of the album (& a primary reason why it took so long to release!)...you can hear why ^_^
Enjoy some Progchestral madness!

The Mountain is a close second, but Iron Sights is my favorite tune on the album. From the gnarly bass riff to open it up, to Pig Riff mixed with heavy guitars, to that assault of an ending...this tune kicks hard! Alex Maiers
